Windows 7 End of Life is nigh. From Tuesday January 14th 2020, or sooner for those who do not download a recent security update, Microsoft no longer updates or provides support for Windows 7.
This means that Windows 7 users need to start thinking about finally moving on from their favourite Windows operating system.
The decision by Microsoft isn’t surprising. The decade-old operating system, which launched in July 2009, has proved to be incredibly popular, and it still is with recent reports suggesting that Windows 7 is still being used on 39% of all PCs.
However, in the shadow of Windows 10’s success, it only makes sense for Microsoft to dedicate all their time and effort in improving the new OS. Also, they must keep making money!
Please get in touch if you want to update your old Windows 7 systems to the latest fully supported Windows software.
